The Education Award Form is now available as a supplemental form to the Oregon Registry Application. If you plan to submit an Oregon Registry Application and you qualify for the Education Award, both can be submitted at the same time. Once your step has been approved your certificate and a letter confirming your award status will be mailed together. Please note that the Supplement Form cannot be submitted on its own, it must be sent with an application and that you must also meet the eligibility requirements to qualify (e.g. working with children in a qualifying facility). 3. Documenting Your Professional Journey, Linking to State & National Programs: Oregon Registry Credentials
For the past two years the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education (OCCD) has been working with state partners and other professionals to develop two state-approved credentials for the field of childhood care and education: Oregon Registry Infant Toddler Professional Credential and Oregon Registry Director Credential. Field tests are in process for both credentials with plans for them to be completed by the end of May 2009 and for the credentials to be available in fall of 2009. We’d like to thank all those who have been involved in developing the new credentials. We could not have done it without you!
