To be approved in a standardized training program, there are three different ways to apply as a trainer depending on trainer qualifications:

1. Community Trainer or Master Trainer Application

The Community Trainer or Master Trainer Application is available only to trainers who are already certified Oregon Registry Community Trainers or Oregon Registry Master Trainers.

2. Direct Documentation Application

The Direct Documentation Application: If you are currently an independent trainer or are employed in a position that does not include responsibilities as a trainer or adult educator, then please complete the Direct Documentation Process.

3. Employer/Supervisor Verification Application

The Employer/Supervisor Verification Application: To be used ONLY by an applicant who is currently employed as a trainer or is in an employed position that includes responsibilities as a trainer, such positions could be:

• Community college or university instructor
• Adjunct faculty
• Child care resource and referral trainer
• Head Start trainer
• Corporate child care trainer

This Employer/Supervisor Verification Process is based upon verification by your employer/supervisor of your qualifications.
