Standardized Trainers

Oregon Registry Standardized Trainers are approved for each of the Standardized Training Sessions available to child care and education professionals. Standardized trainers must meet qualifications through their experience as a trainer, experience in the field, or education in the field.

Oregon Registry Standardized Trainers are recruited as needed or when a training of trainers session is scheduled for a particular training curriculum. See the Schedule of Standardized Training of Trainers (TOT) Sessions for recruitment information. Applications for Standardized Trainers are not accepted at other times.

For two of the state standardized training curricula, Building Blocks of Social and Emotional Development (BBSED) and Child Care Health and Safety (CCHS), an alternative, the Secondary Trainer Process, may be used by local resource & referral programs.
